The standard width of the fan tower door is 600 mm, and the ordinary switch cabinet often has to be pre-installed before the tower is erected because the cabinet is too wide, or a secondary distribution power station is set up separately outside the tower.
The width of the 40.5kV SafeWind switchgear is only 420 mm, which can easily pass through the fan tower door, so it can be installed after the tower is erected, providing a more reasonable and economical choice for the fan manufacturer.
Inside the tower, space is very limited. The ultra-thin switchgear saves space and provides wind turbine manufacturers with greater flexibility when arranging and installing electrical equipment.
